If drugs were legal they would be very cheap. This would stop the need to steal and murder for drugs/money.

If people were not restricted they would be less likely to do/use it.

i am a libertarian, so as far as im concered if what you want to do to ur body doesnt affect me in anyway then do as you please. however cocaine is to powerful so i would say no to that, but marijuana is weaker than alcohol, so legalize it.

if the people we elected to washington dc werent so stupid they might realize how stupid it is that alcohol is legal. alcohol is so adicting and deadly compared to marijuana. plus there are medical benefits to boot.

I'd have to disagree with your statement that "if people were not restricted they would be less likely to do/use it". I think the opposite is true; more would be likely to indulge. No, I don't think drugs should be legalized, not from any ultra-conservative viewpoint, but rather that I don't think people that I am dealing with on a daily basis are as accurate and sensible when on drugs than not. I sure don't want to trust a waiter in a restaurant with my order after he or she just had a joint while on a break, or for that matter a surgeon who just did a line or two of coke prior to a long day of surgery to keep himself stimulated...not to mention the pilot on the next commercial flight.

what do u think Prozac and other pharmaceuticals are doing?? They are altering the brains chemistry with itself. Same as illegal drugs. Dont be fooled the government doesn't care about u and ur health. They care about money and they cannot make a profit from things that U or some1 else can make or grow.
U and I should have the right to do what we want with our bodies.

It depends on the drug and the person wanting them.

Simple answer, no there is a reason that it is illegal. To use the excuse it would stop people from stealing it, it just dumb they have a bad habit they need to kick.
