Hurricanes, during the time I was stationed in Florida. So much damage and despair for so many people.

A few years ago we had a wicked bad snowstorm and we lost power so we used this little space heater thing that didn't have to be plugged in but it ended up causing carbon monoxide so we had to stand outside in the snow for like 20 minutes.
Also about 2 years ago we had a really big flood and school was cancelled for 2 days because it is next to a river and the football field and the parking lots flooded. People were canoing in the parking lot and jumping off the goal posts. Plus almost all my friends basements flooded and one friend lost all their electronics they keep in like the entertainment room in their basement. They lost a big screen tv, radio, etc.
BTW I live in Massachusetts

We actually move before this happened to us. OK this is what happened. When we lived in southern Louisiana our house got destroyed by Hurricane Katrina and so we had to go in the Louisiana super dome and we were smothering and burning hot because there was no air conditioning and so it was packed inside like there was going to be a game going on during this storm hit us.

I was in Montréal during the 98 that shut down much of Southwest Quebec, and New York state, I was in a Holiday Inn with no electricity, it is incredible how much our lives depend on electricity! Such a horrible event in my life.

worst thing? see mi father's house falling down (made of concrete 3 feet thick) after one of the biggest earthquake in 1980 in central Italy were I came from . .1.000.000 people lost almost everything. A earthquake make you feel lost ,your head turn like you are drunk, you can't walk, too busy trying to just standig up. you feel the power of the Mother !!!!!
