Use a Windows 98SE setup disk and run fdisk to delete the non-dos partition on the drive that will get rid of Vista. Set 2 partitions , a dos partition and a non-dos partition. Install 98 first on the dos partition format it fat32. Then install XP on the extended non-dos partition and format it NTFS. When you boot it will give you the choice of which os to load. Only problem I can see is that there may not be any 98 drivers for some of the hardware in the computer. The newer chipsets and the like wernt even thought of when 98 was out.

if yur computer is anything like mine it has a separate option at startup that you push. Mine for example has F1 and F12 i think. Next to F12 it says press to boot from CD. Thats what i had to do to get it to boot from disc. It asked me to erase partitions and all that fun stuff you do when you reformat.
VISTA BLOWSSSS!!

while reinstalling windows vista....it doesnot give u option to delete partition coz it does that it self for you and for repair their is a different menu in disc...which says "repair my computer " or just "Repair"...
so u cannot manaully delete the earlier partition as its does it itself....
