I think the company can't please everyone. They don't give out bonuses and the employees scream, but when they do give out bonuses the stock holders scream. I think it depends which side of the fence you are on, and whether you appreciate your choice. You have a job, a bonus is just that "a bonus". If you want more it is easier to find a job while you have one or you could start your own company.

I agree you should be thankful, many companies don't even give End of year or Christmas bonuses. This year is the first year I have ever received one. Previous companies I worked for never gave bonuses.

Be glad you got that!Tyson employees got two 5$ coupons for Tyson products. The supervisors gave bags of candy with an ornament which I understand but come on Tyson is a huge company. I exspect more then two coupons. You cant even use them together at Walmart so really you can get some hot wings I guess.

My hub is a pharmacist for Walgreens and they get about $5. At least you got $40. The company isn't required to get you anything. Be happy with what you got!

Nothing. Just accept what they gave as a gift and move on. Only get upset when they give others more than you. That would be discrimination. If it's a good job, keep it. Jobs are hard to find.

They are not required to give anything at all. Even a small gesture should be appreciated.
