The purple Giraffe will knock spots off the flying Giraffe, so the purple one is more realistic. You will have me as nutty as you are!

A purple one would require a change in one or two genes that determine hair colour. A flying one would require a complete skeletal and muscular reconstruction. It would be difficult enough if you were to change the forelegs to wings, if you wanted to add wings to the existing animal it would be just about impossible. Purple is much easier.
