That is pretty cool. Congrats. When i was 12 we had an in-house little league all-star game and i pitched in the 6th inning and gave up 9 runs to put us down by 2. We didn't score in the bottom of that inning and the umps wanted to leave. But both coaches convinced them to stay so we played a 7th inning. The first two batters of the inning got on base and i stepped up to the plate. After the fouling a pitch off and taking a ball i hit a walk off 3 run homer to win the game. I ran around the bases in like 4 seconds and threw my helmet off just before homeplate where i was mobbed by my team. That was my best game i ever played in. Another great game i played in was a year later. I moved and played junior legion baseball. The game had a total of 3 hits and i started as a 13 year old where all our other starters were 15. I scored our only run and played solid "d". The game took forever to play because of a 2 hour rain delay and an eventually continuation the next day. We ended up losing 2-1 but it was just a firey game with lots of yelling and an intense atmosphere. In the district tournament championship for my 10 year old tournament team we got down 3 nothing early to come back in the last two innings of the game to win 4-3. I played well but just seeing how the fans reacted to every call and play on the field was great. No errors in the entire game and a walk off win for us. Great game. Last year in our high school county championship game, we played against the team that was considered the best team in the county. The game came down to a pass ball in the top of the 7th inning. The winning run scored for the other team and we couldn't came back in the bottom half and lost. To get to that game we had to play the county champ of the previous three years. We were up 4-3 and gave up a run in the bottom of the 7th. The bases were loaded for the other team with no outs and we got out of it. In the 10 inning of that game we put up 6 runs and won 10-4. I've played in a lot of baseball games and these are the ones that just stick out. I didn't play in the last two but i was part of the team so i counted them.

It's difficult to limit the list to just three but the greatest single talent I ever saw was Mickey Mantle. Fortunately for me I had the chance to see much of Mantles career live and in person. The other two would be Roberto Clemente and Willie Mays. I got to see Clemente more than Mays but enough to appreciate their incredible talents.
Just as a bonus I went to many a Phillies game and got to see Mike Schmidt a great deal. Frankly I was more impressed with his defensive skills than his hitting. When he was hot, he was really hot but when he was in a hitting slump it seemed to last forever.

First: Cal Ripken Jr., first time I saw him in person was during his second MVP season, he was playing in Oakland, he went 4-5 with two HR's and two doubles, then made four outstanding plays in the field, the league was his that year!
Second: Michael Jack Schmidt, OH MY!!! He was amazing to watch, he did everything and he did it all very well! Met him when I was 5 years old on a school trip to the Vet!
Third: Rickey Henderson, in his prime there was no game changer like him, he was a freak! When he got on first the entire stadium was on the edge of their seat in anticipation of him stealing, he complete messed up pitchers, he could hit with pop when it was needed and was a complete game changer!
