because you are scrubbing down to get the dirt off you... which is true also with washing but scrubbing down sounds like you are actually getting the dirt off, and washing up sounds like you are getting clean... even though both mean the same thing...

scrubbing down reminds me of like being uber dirty, like covered in mud or something like and you need to like scrub down cos you're so dirty, like you are gonna eat dinner with your family, but washing up reminds me of actually getting like prissy clean or you're going somewhere important... like dinner out or something...

scrubbing down sounds manly and washing up sounds femenine...

or just don't listen to me.... cos I'm sick...

For example you are washing somthing in a sink if we scrubbed up towards out [wash up] the sink soap bubbles and gushing water would be a mess all over your clothes and the floor. And why do we scrub down? still your washing somthing in the sink up is toward the sink. You wash dwon the up you see, down is toward the sink so when you are done rinsing you can squeeze the water out up toward the sink into the drain hole and it you washed down it would get all over your clothes and the floor. And pretty much if your taking a shower you scrub down to get the dirty stuff off yourself and if you scrubbing up your pretty much putting it in you hair and it would just slide down again and you have to scrub scrub scrub and rinsing up is to get it all out if you rinse down you pretty much making it dirty again because you hair, its just like wet soggy mud sliding all over your body. And thats why we scrub Down and wash Up. And if you dont get me feel like your washing your hands in the sink (Back to the sink subject) sink is down ok now your trying to get all these germs on your hands if you scrubbed up the germs would just spread all over your arm and thats a dumb thing 2 do so you rinse down to your fingertips with is scrub down so the dirty stuff would get off, OK?
