1) take 2 white shirts and put differnt stains on one shirt and then repeat with the secong. then use tide to go and a bleack pen to see which will work better to get the stain out.

or

2) take many different types of liquids such a differnt sodas and milk oil pickle juice and more.... and then freeze them in ice trays. then remove them all at the smae time and time to see which liquid will melt quicker

I'd have to choose #2, because I can't afford to ruin a white shirt if the stains don't come out. If you can afford to ruin the white shirts, then #1 would be easier to do.

As for #2, the problem is that you'd have to sit and wait for the ice cubes to melt (which might take a while). If you do this one, try to make sure there aren't any heat sources nearby the ice cubes, because the one closest to the heat source might melt more quickly (even it it wasn't supposed to do that).

I have always been curious about the stain removing pens - I think it sounds pretty fun.

watching stuff melt wouldn't be fun for me - but you should pick the project that you will enjoy the most!!!

you could do both of them and just present the project that you think the judges will find the most interesting

I like the second one.
You can also get flower seeds and see what liquid will make them grow. ie: milk, soda, vinagar, coffee, and apple juice. Water can be your base or what ever you call it that is the regular thing. See what makes them grow the fastest.
