As a dem I might vote for McCain. He has been in war and was a POW for 4 years. Also george bush supporters do not like him because he is intelligent and was against the war strategy of George Bush.

No, but as I have stated several times, I am a gay democrat, and I am voting for Rudy!

Actually lets be fair as to why Republicans do not like McCain. The main one is he's for amnesty and open borders like Bush is - he was a big advocate of the bill America rose up against and defeated last year. Second he advocates a violation of free and independent speech in his political reform goals. This is so obviously personally motivated its sickening because his goals would leave the media alone but control candidates and their donors. Why - because he has a great media relationship that is why.

No. I used to respect McCain. However, he chose to sacrifice his integrity when he signed onto the bush agenda, as , for example, supporting the attempt to hand our ports over to the Arabs. For that, and other resons, McCain does not deserve to be president--nor can he be trusted not to betray this country's interests.

frankly, probably not.

and i strongly supported mccain in 2000, even went to rallies and registered as a republican so i could vote for him in the primary in my state.

but now, i simply don't trust republicans and don't think that they should be in charge of any branch of our govt.

i don't trust mccain to appoint sane supreme court judges - and the next president will likely appoint two or three.

sorry, not mccain, not any republican.

not now, maybe not ever!

I like Huckabee or perhaps Mitt Romney...if Clinton doesn't get it!

I too, used to respect McCain and wanted to vote for him the last time he ran....But he abandoned his principals and signed on to Bush's agenda. I wouldn't vote for him now! No way....

No, I wouldn't vote for him. He is too old & out of step with the times! I'm no spring chicken myself so, I do know that as a person grows older they become less ready to welcome change & things need to be changed. He is not the man for the job.
