Jeez, everyone love's R2 but what about poor old C-3PO. Well he was a droid but so was R2-D2! I love the Iron Giant. He was an alien robot but a robot none the less. I cried my eyes out at the end of that movie when he's flying into space to intercept the missile and he utters the word "Superman" before colliding with the it. OMG I'm tearing up now.
Marvin the Paranoid Android is totally great too.
