I like it, just like Vietnam became "Nixon's War" even though Kennedy and Johnson got us into it. Good thinking!

It's Bush & Cheney's war. I'm so fed up with both poticial parties at this point. I was a life long Democrat but changed to Independent because somewhere along the way they lost their backbone. I though the 2006 elections was a message that Americans wanted the war to stop in Iraq. Republicians are no better for supporting an inept & evil administration with their votes in congress. I was always was told that every vote counts. The 2000 election proved that was not true. I'm proud to be an American but can't stand what the President has done with America.

Nope.. as much as you dislike Pelosi, this mess in Iraq is still Bush's war and it will always be labelled as his war. Joke that it is.
And as for it being called the War on Terror.. that is dumb.. call it what it is.. Bush's quest for oil for his buddies.

She is smart enough to not destroy the party by allowing the fringe to set policy. That hardly gives her the title of supporting the war. If Nancy is ever seen as a conservative influence, the dems will have serious life-threatening problems.

She tried to play with fire and got burned.
She realizes, there are many, many military people and their families out there who would be furious at her and her party if they did not fund the war. They would be after her blood, at the ballot box. So,, Dems,if you want to commit political suicide, just vote against funding the war.
Don't think President Bush doesn't know to play politics. He got what he wan ted, and she looks like an ineffective leader.

Your question is loaded. It's not any one person's war. Regardless of whether or not you agree with it we've got men and women over there working/fighting for us and not continuing funding for political reasons is GD irresponsible.

Sure, go ahead. This is still a free country, label it anything you like.
It will change nothing of course, but if it makes you feel better, go right ahead.

It already has its appropriate "label". It's called "Operation Iraqi Freedom". That's all the label it needs.
