Surely it is a bit outdated now. It was created when they were young and stupid. Now they are old and stupid shouldn't it be a little more sensible or at least sound a bit more decent. Spice girls sounds even more stupid now that they are older. Im not saying they are past it, but I just don't think it sounds good or suits them now. Especially as they now have this sophisticated look, but they still have the crazy name.

yes in the Uk the spice girls are referred to as Old Spice as in the after shave

They started as the Spice Girls when they were really young. Why in the world would they change their name which is globally famous? No group would ever do that.
That being said, I'm always amazed to see how people who can't stand them actually take the time to post some elaborate question on a forum that isn't really a question, and then go back to it twice to edit it. There are lots of bands I really don't like, but I could never just sit there and make posts about them. Because they annoy me and bore me. Why would I bother? Why would you?

If you spent your time and energy making your band a household name, it would be retarded to change your name. From a marketing and financial point of view, it only makes sense to keep your name. What kind of a question is this? Their music may be cheesy, but they are still hot (and look a lot better than some of these chicks half their age).

Sophisticated? Are you blind? Outfits so tight they look ready to burst out of them! Posh (another inappropriate name) who never smiles but has a permanent pout! Emaciated bodies, with bony knees. Sophisticated? I don't think so.
