What I do is wait for some time when my parents are going to gone for an hour or so. I take a knife or letter opener and put the blade under the tape so it will come off in one piece. Or just cut it. After looking, I tape everything back up and pretend to be surprised at Christmas. Yay! I'm getting Call of Duty 4!

What I do is if there not wrapped I go into my parents closet and look, but if they are wrapped, then I neatly open the gift, without ripping the paper. I undo the tape and peek in.

why do you want to do that.? It will spoil the surprise. Gift bags are easy just untie and open, you may have a little trouble with rewrapping other gifts but don't blame me when aunt Gertrude sent you a tie or socks.

Go into a closet, lock the door and open, and get extra wrapping paper to wrap it again if it breaks!

If this doesn't work, fight the urge!

I just look at them and go "ooh" and "aah" and then move right along. Most of the people I know neither want nor need any of that stuff. Neither do I.

if your parents are good at wrapping presents then its easy.. go find the fold and carefully untape it and open one whole side look inside then wrap it just like it was and tape it back up.. DONT RIP THE PAPER!!!!

i got away with looking at my presents for 6 years like this :)
