its funny to me... people make fun of mid westerners ( wisconsinites in particular, and othe ruppper midesteners for using this phrasology "doncha know" at the end of a sentence. it has become the stereotype. i cnat understand why, because in my whole life living in southern wisconsin, i never heard anyone say that... ever. where does that expression come from? did one woman from racine say it once and someone went back to new york to report that wisconsinites talk funny? LOL what d oyou think?

I think it's more common in Minnesota than in Wisconsin.

It's just a filler tacked on the end of sentences, like 'ya hear' or 'you know' or 'eh'.

LOL Yea I think that is along the lines of everyone thinking that all southerners marry their siblings or other things along those lines. I hate stereotypes!
