According to a report on Glenn Beck today. The legislation Bush signed today has effectively killed the border fence. It says the fence doesn't have to be built unless the Sec of Homeland Security wants it to be. When are these idiots going to learn that they work for the people? It's time to start the emails and calls again folks.

A fence won't stop illegals, it's just a waste of money. If you want to stop illegal immigration then start arresting business owners that hire illegals, that will stop it real quick.

Of course we have been sold out! Our govt works for big business, not for the people. The only times that they listen to us is during election time and when we bombard them with letters, faxes, and emails, as we did when we stopped the Senate Shamnesty bill. We don't really need the border fence, although I think it is a good idea to secure our southern border from smugglers, terrorists, and los reconquistadors. What we need to do is to create a national ID card for citizens, and an ID card for legal immigrants, and to demand that businesses check all employees records with a national database.
We could eliminate most of the illegal immigration using these simple methods, and BY ENFORCING ALREADY EXISTING IMMIGRATION LAWS! Sorry for shouting, but it really pisses me off that our current administration and Congress won't enforce our laws.

The only way to stop illegals is to make the place they come from seem like a good place to stay. We should help everyone south of Texas who wants the help. I don't mean throwing money at them. I mean find a way to help them build an economy and create jobs (no not American jobs) that will let them stay home and be able to live. What did these people live on before the was an US to run to.
The option of the cops coming down with the hammer never really makes things better. It just takes more rights away from the people.

Bush has long been an amnesty open border kind of guy; its one of the big differences between him and his party. So it would be an easy sell out for him to make. What is interesting though is how the democrats manage to get away with pretending they are not for open borders and amnesty...I mean they couldn't even answer the drivers license questions with straight answers in their debates.

Glenn Beck is a alcoholic idiot. Turn off the crappy CNN and watch Bill O'reilly for the true news.
