I mean, if they don't want any answers they shouldn't ask questions should they?

btw - I don't give offensive answers (just in case you're wondering)

I have had a couple of emails. They were both about there being an uprising in the UK. I said that the vast majority of the people here were too apathetic, so the guys emailed me saying that they had seen the signs, they knew better, etc, etc.

And I got blocked by one or two users too, One was a Manchester United supporter who obviously wanted the opinions of only Man Utd supporters to his question and another guy who didn't like being told he was narcissistic in response to his repeated asking for opinions for the supposedly great person he was describing, i.e., himself.

Yeah. I didn't answer this guy's question, he just found me. He sent me a message wondering why people thought it was bad that his girlfriend is 13. He is 21. I don't know if he expected me to tell him it was okay, but boy was he mad when I told him it wasn't. He would not stop sending messages. I blocked him. Sometimes people message me about answers of mine that they've seen. Not really being mean, just makes me feel awkward because they want to say they're sorry for something or tell me how sweet I am. Creeps me out sometimes, especially if they didn't answer the question I answered.

Heres what the help page says: A "troll" is someone who intentionally and persistently posts inflammatory messages about sensitive topics to bait users into responding or provoke a confrontation. We also consider people to be trolls when they persistently misuse product features such as the ratings system to negatively target others.

Yes, I have received some pretty angry emails in the past and they got me even angry but, I have blocked them, and learned, that I don't gain anything but aggravation if I keep fighting with them.

Just the one person, he was so rude too, I sent him a flippant email back and haven't heard off him since thankfully.

I just had one from a sick perv this evening...just because he didn't like my reply.

His question was "Why do you people make such a big thing out of "Phaedophilia"?

(If you type his question into the 'Search for questions:' box at the top of the page you can see all the replies he received.)

Normally what I do is block them and forget about it

edit: truly what annoys me are those who hide behind the Yahoo troll protection and wont post their email...then make derogatory remarks about your comment to their question
