Okay, we're making the assumption that I'm single with this answer.
My dream date is kind, caring, a great conversationalist, intellectual, and interested in listening to me. He has a lot of integrity as well as some ambition, but is not egotistical nor arrogant.
Notice I'm not stating anything about his appearance. I'm in my 40s and have found that often the best guys in the world are not the greatest looking. Many of the good looking guys can be self-absorbed and materialistic.
Personally since I've found that age has a way of levelling the attractiveness factor (most people even out in looks as they age), I'll go with a great personality over great looking any day.

probably being on holiday with a talk, dark, muscular someone, going to a gorgeous romantic restaurant where we are sat extremely close together and talking the night away, then taking a stroll on a beach, sitting next to a bonfire, eventually falling asleep in his arms under the stars....
but i like the idea of yours too...well thought out
