How primitive will we look to some one in the year 2107?

In spite of our advances, I like to keep a perspective of how primitive we are in the light of possibilities. 100 years from now, we will probably look back on 2007 the way we now look back on 1607. Kinda scary, but it keeps the mind sharp. I'm not one for writing fiction, so I'll just say that we're in for some nice and not-so-nice changes. Population and diminishing resources will lower the global standard of living, where medical, technical and suprise developments will brighten things. Perhaps gravity control will occur, or travel between dimensions. We should expect some great calamities in the next 100 years-volcanoes, tsunamis,quakes. As the population increases, death toll will also go up as a result of these happenings as well as new diseases. Our global population may plateau at about 10 billion forever because of the opposite pulls of growth and calamity. We'll have hit a glass ceiling. Diminishing resources and disease/disaster may settle the world into a less- is- more state where we're content with zero growth.
