how did the entertainment business affect fashion in the fifties and sixties? like in movies and bands or singers(how they dressed)

That was when fashion started getting outrageous. The sixties was "anything goes" time. It just kept getting worse from there. The entertainers kept up with the styles and invented some of their own. That is when the original tie-dye was born. Glam and glitter and neon colors and oh my! Then it kind of slid through the seventies and in the eighties it was BIG HAIR.
