Hello.
My ex-husband and I divorced in November of 2006. I found out He cheated on me with his ex-girlfriend from High School before and after he was deployed to Afghanistan (we were married then). That's why we divorced. He is now married to her (married her in January after our divorce).

I got a Christmas card from them this year.

They were doing it to be spiteful, I know.... and, it's got HER written all over it. She's one of those Redneck bitches that thinks she got one over on me by "stealing my man."

Has that ever happened to any of you???? Just curious if there are more braison people in the world like that.

I coulda beat the crap outta both of 'em, by the way!

Oh, p.s.... they sent one to my parents too!!! Believe that???

Yep, thought of that. But, with my vague, short discription, you don't know the details surrounding what type of people they are. And I can say this w/ relative certainty b/c I was married to one of them. That is not the case. Thanks though.

Yep.. it did get a rise outta me, at first. But like "Joseph" said: I'm the bigger one and have not responded in any way, and don't plan to. Just was wondering if anyone else has any experience with this... I think it's funny now, although it upset me at first.

Well, they are doing what they are doing to get a rise out of you. And it's working. Finding a way to maintain your grace would rob them of their shameful joy. It's all about how you play it. You see, it gives you an opportunity to be above them that you'd otherwise not have. So be above them.

And no, this specific thing hasn't happened, but analogous events like it have. And the answer has always been the same: live gracefully and when those that would tear you down try, you don't let them and they tear themselves down instead.

ya they were being azzholes about it, i guess if it was me i would send her a condolences, or sympathy card as this man is not worth having and you got the better deal, if the will cheat with you they will cheat on you so you know what is in store for her sooner or later, like i said he isn't worth [neither is she]getting into a fight over, cause that would only prove that you still want him, send her a card, and tell them if they want to continue this you will have a ppo put out on the both of them

Even if it was sent in spite just move on.If he sent one to your parents I don't think that was for spite. A woman will try to make another woman mad or jealous but they usually wont mess with the parents. Just smile when you see them and go on and be thankful that you don't have to deal with him anymore. If he did that to you you're better off anyway. Go out and make a good life for yourself and forget about them.

All in all consider this youre rid of the idiot and now hes her problem and its only a matter of time before he two times her. What goes around does come around with a little time. Had a similar situation. My second ex left me and got married in a 3 month span. Her husband emailed me a pic of the ring ON HER HAND just to rub it in.

Well, my ex cheated on me and married her too but I never received a Christmas card from them! LOL If the card bothered you, whatever you do, don't let them know it bothers you!

BTW, you should send THEM a Christmas card with your new little one and thank them because if they hadn't gotten back together, you wouldn't be mom to your little man! ;-)

i would send a card back actually
throw the same thing back in their face

White trash. Just be thankful that you're not with him anymore. I've known people like that. Best to just ignore it, or better yet, Return to Sender any other "cards" and such they send. One of my friends got a card for her borthday from her ex and his current. She burned the card and mailed the ashes back to them. ;)

My ex sent me a card once. I sent him one back and it contained a letter from some collection agency that he owed money to. And after that, he never sent me another card. Guess he was too cheap to spend the money on another stamp hey.

Honey I know what u mean and I can feel ur pain completely. The father of my child and I were together..he later left me over some redneck small town low class ******!! ****** just used him so she could get his benefits and money. i truly loved the man and wanted us to be together forever with our daughter but he preferred her over me and our daughter. the ****** manipulated him so he could be with her and blackmailed him so he could marry her too!!! she took my man away from me and on the weekends he took my daughter to his house and that stupid redneck ****** was playing "mommy" to my child!!! thats got me so pissed off!!

At least now he is divorced to her, they had a child together but things between them are so bad that he doesnt even wanna be part of her child´s life. on the other hand, he wants to be a permanent fixture in our daughter´s life. but that still doesnt take away all the pain and anger that I feel that he had initially chose that stupid ****** over me and our daughter. i know he is not regretful for what he did. but at least he´s not with her anymore, he finally realized what a manipulative gold digging ****** she is.
