Austrian crystal earrings, costs about $7.99.
Get them at Walgreen.

A copy of their favorite magazine and a bag of hot chocolate mix(the special individual ones they sell at the store, not the boxed) or some flavored tea bags with their favorite candy bars and and maybe a candle, scented or unscented, you know a little votive thing, and wrap it in a gift bag and tissue paper from the dollar store. This works for guys and girls, just change up the magazine depending on their interest, from gaming to fashion. Believe me, over the years I've gotten a lot of presents that sit and I really appreciate the ones that I can use. (I'm not that old, just worked in huge offices and belonged to clubs, etc that exchanged). You can probably do this for under $10 each but it's worth a million!!!!! This is one they can picture using when they dont' feel good, or are bored or just want to hang out in sweats on a rainy day.

I understand you dilemma completely!

Instead of buying gifts you may want to instead make something. If you are crafty there are lots of ornament project and other Christmas craft at places like Michaels.

If that's not your thing, you can make cookies, fudge or other fun Holiday recipes. Most store have inexpensive decorative boxes and containers that you can fill with your goodies! It's the thought that counts and food is always welcome!!

Another great idea is to buy decorative Christmas mugs and fill them with candy or gorment hot cocoa or gormet coffee!

I do little things like this for my friends and it seems to mean a lot more that I spent time to make something!

Good luck!
