Sin.But the worst is marching like sheep to the slaughter in our PC world into a Fascist New World Order.Ignoring crime statistics and letting things erode further for fear of taking action.

People are too consumed with wondering if they are racist instead of just living their lives and being nice to others. It isn't all about race. Also, these same people who wonder if they are racist decide at some point they are going to take a "stand" and that stand involves merely accusing others of being racist instead of showing by their actions that they are not.

In no particular order:

--Too many billionaires, in particular, too many rich old men in Big Oil and Big Banking. Their habit of concentrating so much wealth into so few hands is really ruining the economic party for everyone.

--Not enough meaningful work to go around. Meaning: not enough work for *ordinary* people to get by and become properly self-sufficient. Usually, a job like this *has to* have some sort of perks along with it and some sort of labor rights protection built into it. Too much work *all over* is little better than wage slavery, in that people get paid a pittance, and nothing more, leaving people high and dry in terms of healthcare, workplace injuries, layoffs, downsizings and outsourcings and abusive bosses.

--Too many people in this world who are desperately poor, relative to their surroundings. Meaning: people shouldn't have to go hungry *anywhere* or go homeless *anywhere*. Children shouldn't have to go without basic schooling or basic healthcare. Everyone *NEEDS* clean water and good sanitation, right?

--Compassion and basic human decency are endangered if not extinct. Too many children are treated like garbage. Too many women are treated like garbage. Too many blind and disabled people are treated like garbage. Too many wounded veterans are treated like garbage. Too many emotionally troubled young men and women, are treated like garbage (and some of them aren't so young these days). Too many smart people are treated like garbage. Too many "ugly" people are treated like garbage. Too many elderly people are treated like garbage. Too many children abandoned, orphaned, or just lost from a divorce, are treated like garbage....

Teachers are treated like garbage, doctors are treated like garbage. People on the bus, on the sidewalk, and in *actual, non-SUV CARS* are treated like garbage. Customers and employees alike are treated like garbage at Wal-Mart.

Spot a pattern here? ^_^ Can you see?

Point is: Would it *Kill Us* to smile at a stranger once in a while? Would it *Kill Us* to volunteer our time to help out with "other people's problems"? Would it *Kill Us* to keep our rude and smartass commentary *to ourselves* if we see someone who doesn't look pretty or meet our usual *impeccable* standards of dress or hygiene?

Would it *Kill Us* to treat other people around us kindly? We sure act like it would....It seems to take a *disaster* or an *act of warfare* to even get us to *momentarily* set aside the kinds of cutthroat prejudices that you'd think we'd be *Happy* to be rid of.

--We have *too many* Organizations that seem out to ruin civilization, and *too few* that are out to preserve it. We can talk *all day* about militaries, mercenaries, nuclear arsenals, terror organizations, cults, religious fanatics....

But how quickly, *even with Christmas drawn near*, do we stop talking about the *good* our organizations do? Each of us has at most two, maybe three *regular* organizations, charities or otherwise, that we can name casually, that we know do people *good*.

--And the *Biggest one*. We have too much *Isolation* going on. We have simply become too cold, distant, withdrawn and alienated from one another.

And if this keeps up it's going to get us all killed.

Thanks for your time. -_-
