-Sunlight will leak through to the back bothering passengers
-During the Summer more sunlight enters the car causing more heat in the car, car tempertures will increase(inside).
-During the Winter cold will leak through the windows, so it feels colder inside the car, unless you activate the automatic covers.

I have an 02 and the roof hasn't worked for more that 30 days at a time since I bought it. It has been covered by my extended warrantee and each time the dealer has given a different lame excuse for the problem but I believe the roof is just too heavy to stay on the track.

it is heavy, and it could leak as the car ages. If you get into a severe accident you will get a shower of glass instead of a steel roof protection you.

they are heavy and could break if a serious accident happened. it's better to just get a regular sunroof.
