It refuses to open up. I've tried fixing the Windows firewall settings, still nothing. Here's the message that comes up when I attempt to open: "Limwire was unable to intialize and start. This is usually due to a firewall program blocking Limewire's access to the internet or loopback connections on the local machine. Please allow Limewire access to the internet and restart Limewire." Any suggestions?

Forgot to mention something...I've heard in numerous places that I should just uninstall it, then reinstall. But won't that delete all my music? I really don't want to run that risk. I will be really upset if all my music is lost.

Try removing the entire file and reinstalling. Perhaps this will help. (Possilbe the file is corrupt).

Uninstalling it will not delete your music. The music you downloaded is saved to your computer. Uninstalling is safe.
