First thing first. Do not go overboard. That is a health risk. You should eat healthy food, slow down on the junk food. You should run but not too much probably around your block and back or you could work out like you don't have to go to a real exercise place you could exercise at home. Do some jumping jacks, push ups, pull ups. Drink alot of water. Not too much. The main reason why you are overweight is probably because you might eat junk food too much. You can eat junk food once in a while. People like me who are skinny needs the fat.

That depends on how serious you are. You can lose 5 pounds the first week SAFELY. If you are "morbidly obese", even more. The most successful weight loss programs are under the care of a physician, and the "glycemic index diet" gives better results than a standard one. Good luck, but do this the right way - slowly, and safely. Better a few pounds overweight, than dead!

Hello there
In feb this year I was admitted in to hospital with chest pains, they found that my blood was craving a lot of fat (this can lead to thrombosis) i was put of a fat free diet, at was told how to read labels and the like
at the time i was 18.7 stones - today I'm 15 stone
what I found was all the "healthy food" i was picking up in the shops isn't that healthy - so I got myself a steamer and buy fresh veg (carrots, Swede, broccoli, string beans, sweetcorn, cabbage) and just eat that without salt as I was told not to eat salt, (IN MY CASE IT WAS EMERGENCY MEDICAL) after 3 days my whole body was craving fat food but i over came and have lost (and stayed off) 3 and half stone so far I'm now still 3 stone over weight but weight stills drops off
quick diets will work such as leaving out meals, slimming tabs, and the like, but the weight will come back on as soon as you stop and go back to "normal" eating
I hope that my information may help you in your quest
best regards Barry

Work out, exercise, eat healthy.
Make a schedule and a list of things to do for the day, otherwise you will not be able to lose weight fast at all.
You need to schedule certain events in your schedule and you need to stick with this gameplan.
Most importantly tell yourself that you can lose weight if you give the effort to do so.

Obviously, the key to losing weight is to burn more calories than you take in...everyday.
So, cut down on your calorie intake. Eliminate all non-essentials. Drink water or something like Fruit 2O instead of pepsi or coke. There are no calories in it. Don't eat cupcakes, potatoe chips, or any other non-essential food or sides.
Work out like crazy when you can so that you burn calories every day. Some cardio will help you burn calories.
Understand though that in order to have the energy to maintain a cardio workout will require that you have energy in your body. That requires eating. So, starving yourself and trying to workout like crazy will not work.
Make sure you are eating healthier foods like fruits and vegs. Nuts are great too.
Weigh yourself every 2 or 3 days and monitor your progress. Checking it everyday will drive you crazy.
Good luck.

My science teacher lost weight by drinking A LOT of water, he would carry a water bottle around with him and drink a lot swearing that it helped him lose his weight. That's a long term thing though, short term I would recommend exercising like crazy, you will gain muscle weight, witch is heavier then fat but you'll look toned and fit. A sport I recommend is swimming, because it works pretty much every muscle in your body without aging the knuckes and bone joints.

For what reason? If you're a wrestler and need to make weight for a match, you probably already know how to lose weight quickly. If you're not a wrestler, then you don't need to lose weight quickly. It's dangerous. Diet, exercise, and patience is the way to go.

if u lose weight quickly then after ur off the diet you'll gain even more weight than before. thats why they call them crash diets. theyre the only way to do it quickly. if ur losing anymore than 2 lbs a week then it means it'll result in gaining the weight back again or getting even bigger than before.
