This is known as conditional probability.
The key word here is "and".
That means the coin lands on a head
"and" the number 3 appears.

You have to multiply each probability together:
Probability of a fair coin landing on heads = 1/2
Probability of rolling a 3 on a six-sided dice = 1/6

Probability of head "and" rolling a three:
= 1/2 * 1/6 = 1/12

The answer is "D".

Good luck in your studies,
