Yeah! I got my 1st period in December 2001 (I was 11). So I'm now 17, and my periods are more irregular NOW than when I was still in my 1st year of periods! Your hormones, like all teen girls', are still changing, and so therefore your cycles are too. That's perfectly normal.
Also, I don't think that even a whole lot of adult women have perfectly regular cycles. I know my mom doesn't. I somehow remember reading a study done on age and regular cycles and I think that only a small minority of women have "regular" cycles.
Hope that helps! :)

Yes. Completely. My period was irregular until I was almost 19. Then it finally became a normal 28 day cycle.

I was 13 when I first started my period and it was pretty irregular for the first few years. I think sometimes it takes some time to get on track.

Hi sweetie i think the country could do with a few more teenagers that think like you and definatly dont think that you are not normal.Im sure your mum would rather have you as you are than coming home steaming drunk in the middle of the night.Have you explained to your mum why you dont like hanging round with your friends?Maybe you could find a few friends who are like you and hang out together like going to the cinemas, ice skating or bowling or even just girlie shopping. I have upmost respect for teenagers like you and hope that there are more of you about in the future. All the best love xx

It's normal for women of all ages to have irregular periods. Unless you're on a form of bc that regulates you. ;)

yes. It's good to keep track of your periods, like using a calender, then you sort-of know when it's coming.

Yes, this is a condition commonly seen. Please seek medical assistance if you have very heavy bleeding, pain or a complete lack of the period.
