If you do, you might as well cancel it all the way. If you live an hour away and can't make it when it snows a little they probably won't hire you. It would save both of you time.

That would depend on the type of work you would be doing most employers need to arrange time out of their everyday schedule to do interviews ,if it was a job that required you to be there on a daily basis then the best way to be considered for the position would be show up when no one else will.

I think that if you called them and explained what was going on, they would be very understandable, and it might get you a better standing on two accounts. One, that you took the initiative to call and let them know there was a problem, and two, that you are safety conscience. Use your best judgment.

If you are planning to commute to the job you need to show them that you are reliable to make the trip. You need to leave earlier. But if you are going to move there, you could reschedule.

There should be no problem with that at all. No one would want you to risk injury just to get to a job interview. It can be rescheduled.
