I just heard this really nice christmas song and it goes like "on the first day of christmas my true love gave to me..something something" ... I know this wasn't the original song because it was like rock..ish. sounds like a band was playing it? does anyone know what this song is?

it corld be a cover of "the twelve days of christmas" there were a few ,inculeding a comedy one by Frank Kelly of Father Ted fame!

The 12 days of xmas - if you's like a less rocky version try to find a version by The Spinners or Bing Crosby or countless other singers.
