A housekeeper does what they are contracted for. Usually just general cleaning., dusting, bathrooms, vacuuming. Talk with the client about what they expect and figure out what you think is a fair price. Sometimes it is better to charge by the job instead of by the hour. Do not forget social security and all of the legal stuff. You could work for a cleaning service first and learn from them what is acceptable and what your rates could be. Just don't tell them that you're only working for a short time. Good luck You could clean my house for practice. HA HA

Housekeepers do exactly what you do at home. You mop and sweep floors, you dust, you take out the trash.
