My boyfriend drew an awesome design on a pair of my jeans with a sharpie. Will I ever be able to wash them without ruining the design?

Sure, Wash on small load alone with cold water and color safe detergent. Expect it to fade over time though =(

It will stay on for years, maybe forever. To help prevent the image from fading, turn the jeans inside out when you wash them. And, only use cold water without as much detergent.
