A lot of people scrambling around pissed because they did not get the right gift for someone, crowded stores, people pushing, traffic is a nightmare, and people pretending to be all happy holidays one moment only to be ornery the day after. Am I a scrooge? Yes, Christmas is over rated. To bad people can't be nice all through the year.

Christmas celebrating Jesus's birth! It means joy and wonder to the world! But it definetly doesn't mean presents like other people say it does!

Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, God the Son.
The angel said to them,
"Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger."
And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying:
"Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests."

I'm jaded by the overt commercialism and the glossing over of the original meaning, the birth of a great Philospher.

It is the greatest holiday of the year in my opinion.
It is a good time to bring families together and to take some stress off of some people.
