I think its actually Canadian and its a compliment. Everything is the opposite there you know. Right is up. Left is down.

It is a negative statement as to the overall result that is you. Personally, socially, professionally, spiritually. Someone would have to know you pretty well to have any basis at all for saying that, and if they don't, I wouldn't take it too seriously. In fact I think it would be more targeted to the person/s responsible for the result. I don't think it's an Aussie phrase.

Its a phrase people say when they put up with a lot of crap from you. Like if somebody is really nagging, annoying or just a real hard a** and they get on your nerves a lot.
