At first an astronaut... yeah I know lol
Then a famous violinist... I took up the violin for about a year and a half.
Then an interior designer... I loved computer games like the sims and others where you could build houses and furnish the rooms.
Then a customs officer...
Then a forensic scientist...
Then a photographer....
Then something in the IT industry.
I am now 15, and I think I am sticking with the photographer/IT career for now haha. Although, customs officer and forensic scientist would be pretty interesting jobs... hmmm.......

I wanted to swim with the dolphins and the killer whales at Sea World, I almost made it too, but I ended getting married and pregnant and that ended it! Now when I go there I am kicking myself in the butt! Instead I became a ASQ certified quality auditor. I made a lot of money but I did not have the joy I would have had doing what I wanted to do!

I had a strong feeling about becoming a teacher and yes, I did become one later in my life (30's) and it was the best decision I ever made. : )
I truly believe we are born knowing "something" about our future, it is God working in us. Too bad I didn't listen more carefully, could have become a teacher sooner.
When you do what you were designed to do, it is the most awesome thing in the world, it's like a big light bulb goes on in your brain and you say; "oh, yeah!"

What i wanted to be when i was a kid was a traveling book drive person! like i would be soooooooo excited to see the book mobile thing (mostly because it was a way to get out of school... but still!) And i remember that our principal would say over the intercom "Okay kiddos! The book Mobile Is Here! Be sure to get your books checked out before Ms. Craocstley ( Cray-Oke-Stley ) takes all the books back to the Chicago Library!" OH! i wanted to be one SOOO bad!

A wife and a mother were my biggest dreams. I did become both, and then my husband left me with 2 small children. I went back to college and got my degree and have had a good administrative career that I never really planned on.

I don't think I wanted to be anything at all. All I remember is that my parents wanted me to be married, be a mom, and be in a house down the street. That did not happen the way they hoped for.
For a long time I avoided marriage, motherhood, and ironically I have a house down the street...that sits empty.
Oh, I remember now...I wanted to be pretty! I did that.

I wanted to be Cinderella. Yes - I did become what I wanted the day my husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella's Castle in Disneyworld - he makes me feel like his princess every single day!
Kinda silly - but true

wanted to be an explorer like Dr. Livingston, a male. but I'm still female and working in corporate offices, which I like just fine, thanks.
I think the childhood fantasies were an escape from the reality of my tumultuous home life, and making the lists of things one needs on an expedition were my way of trying to control my life.
