Well I have a sore on my vagina and I've had one of these before. I AM A VIRGIN BY THE WAY! So it can't be an STD. My mom told me it could be a pimple or an ingrown hair but I'm not really sure, can someone help me?

It is probably a boil. A boil, also referred to as a skin abscess, is a localized infection deep in the skin. A boil generally starts as a reddened, tender area. Over time, the area becomes firm and hard. Eventually, the center of the abscess softens and becomes filled with infection-fighting white blood cells that the body sends from the bloodstream to eradicate the infection. This collection of white blood cells, bacteria, and proteins is known as pus. Finally, the pus "forms a head," which can be surgically opened or spontaneously drain out through the surface of the skin. Most simple boils can be treated at home. Ideally, the treatment should begin as soon as a boil is noticed since early treatment may prevent later complications.
The primary treatment for most boils is heat application, usually with hot soaks or hot packs. Heat application increases the circulation to the area and allows the body to better fight off the infection by bringing antibodies and white blood cells to the site of infection.
As long as the boil is small and firm, opening the area and draining the boil is not helpful, even if the area is painful. However, once the boil becomes soft or "forms a head" (that is, a small pustule is noted in the boil), it can be ready to drain. Once drained, pain relief can be dramatic. Most small boils, such as those that form around hairs, drain on their own with soaking. On occasion, and especially with larger boils, the larger boil will need to be drained or "lanced" by a health-care practitioner. Frequently, these larger boils contain several pockets of pus that must be opened and drained.

I recently had one on my vagina's outer lip and I was so nervous because I am sexually active but I always used protection and see a gyno regularly...so I really flipped! But...it turned out to be a pimple...sometimes they pop up when you're sweaty down there, especially if you were tight clothing...best thing to do is not to pick at it because that area is really sensitive and it'll just make it worse and hurt more. If it doesn't go away within a week or 2...then I would be concerned if it's cancer or something else...chances are it's probably not =)

Yeast infections in many cases itch on the lips and the interior very intensely. If its the clit that hurts than sure, intercourse is possibly the criminal. Being itchy would desire to easily be through fact its summer time fairly if the itching is remoted to nighttime time. If she is nervous and it does no longer pass away in a pair of days have her see her wellness care provider.

well, do you get cold sores? you could have infected yourself with herpes, the cold sore virus can be transmitted to the genital area if you don't wash your hands after touching a sore on your face and then wiping after urinating.
Suggest you see a doctor and have that sore cultured, it could also be staph.

It could also be cystic acne...the cysts can develop in personal regions, and I think there are certain medications you can take for them.
