Putting my two eldest cats to sleep. I'd known both since they were born, the 16 year old had lymph cancer and the 18 year old had kidney failure. They were my children, and my best friends.

We had to make the decision of putting our dog Hercules to sleep. We knew that it was the right thing to do due to his medical problems however making that decision just about killed us. We had had him for over 9 years and he was our baby since my husband and I can not have children. So that is the hardest thing that we ever had to do.

Drive away from the campus the day I left my son there to begin college. That was an agony beyond all agonies.

It was hard but when time goes by I just think: why it was so hard? Ask me now and I'll be fine to say Good Buy to the person that I loved... No, I am wrong. Still very hard

In my early days after having 'come out' I was chatted up and taken home by a girl I thought was wildly exciting.
when we got to her place, we had a few drinks...Then she put her drink down, looked at me and told me to stand up in front of her so she could look at me... I did (feeling nervous but still quite excited)
then she told me to undress slowly.
seriously, that was the hardest thing I've ever had to do.
She made me look at her the whole time, while she was obviously enjoying herself and looking at me all over.
I was nervous but SO SO excited at the same time. The hardest thing ever.
I got my reward though... she really DID make it all worth it.
