Dude, your wasting your time trying to figure out the left. They're all about making noise so people pay attention to them, like a crying child & like a child they're mad when you don't understand them or give 'em what they want.
Ramadan? Yeah they're for it because they want to appease anyone for the votes; they know the Christian vote is pretty much lost. Satanist are next after the atheist vote.

Why does Congress have to "acknowledge the onset of Ramadan"?

If they DON'T recognize it will it NOT happen?

Stupid f-ing Congress. Vote them all out. worthless taxpayer-money-sucking bribe-***-kissing pricks. They are all worthless.
ESPECIALLY the ones running for President!
They should be FORCED to take an UNPAID leave of absence.

What we should be upset about is that we are paying these idiots and they haven't done a damn thing except worry about the next election and waste time doing nothing to solve the problems that this country is facing right now.

I know when Christmas is, I don't know when Ramadan is, you think equal time is so awful when its someone elses religion, but when its yours you think that's fine.
That's the key reason both resolutions are pandering to religion and shouldn't be involved with government.
Are we now going to see Lieberman ask for the same wording for a resolution recognizing Jews.
The religion from which the others flowed after all.

A resolution isn't a law, its like declaring National Pickle Week, and shouldn't be done with religion at all.

So, did you read what you wrote? The Christmas Holiday is already recognized...it need no further help. The bill 847 Asks for Recognizing the " Importance" of the day...Unnecessary.
The bill 635 recognizes the Day of Ramadan...A new thing, and a good thing for our Muslin Citizens....Get the difference??
