Where in the Bible does it say that Jesus was born on December 25th?
I'm thankful to be alive no matter what time of year it is.
Typically Christmas brings out all the hypocritical "religious" people who only go to church one day out of the year, and it isn't even really the birth day of Jesus.

I'm very thankful for everything that I have, and even sometimes for what I don't have! When I was growing up, there were 8 of us kids, and we didn't get many gifts. For me, Christmas is about family, and the fact that Jesus was born, and that his life is what we celebrate. I believe that Christmas has become far too commercialized, and that there are many people who will cry because they didn't get the IPod they wanted, or the IPhone, or whatever else it is that they wanted. I'm grateful for time that I have had on this earth, and I am grateful for the fact that I have a warm bed to sleep in at night, and that I have food to eat, and that I have a full time job that supports me and my family. Do I wish sometimes that I had some of the "extras"? Yes! But I know that where I am is where God had intended me to be, from before I was born. My kids will get a few presents, but they aren't going to get the gifts that are going to cost every extra penny I have. My kids know that Christmas is not about the presents, they know that it's about family, and Jesus. I wish that more parents taught their kids that. I really feel that the parents are to blame in this situation. For, the more money one seems to have, the more the kids seem to left to their own devices, and the more the kids seem to be "bought off". I don't want a bunch of nasty-grams because of what I just said, but that is the way that I feel. There are plenty of parents that have a lot money that don't do that with their kids. I know that. My comment stems from what I have seen and experiences from around me.

Some of us might but hopefully most of us will remember that Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, God the Son.
The angel said to them,
"Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger."
And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying:
"Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests."
(Luke 2:10-14)
With love in Christ.

your not a very smart 14 year old, sorry to say.
But hey your religious. For other people we've figured out its how the world works, most people dont spend enough time with family so christmas came along, why do you think christmas is the most busy time of year? cos businesses get most there money around that time, shoppers shopping, buying gifts to remind their friends and family they care, and tradition came from other traditions and times.
It could be just jesus for you, but for others is just about spending time with family and friends, maybe you will learn that one day.
Im atheist so i would think more logically and question alot more things then a religious person would. Why do you think i became atheist? cos i actually questioned things.

Yes.
Christmas really isn't about the birth of Jesus, because early Christian missionaries decided to put a celebration around the winter solstice.
Honestly, Christmas has no meaning to me because if you're thankful for something, you should be thankful no matter what time of year it is.

absolutely. I was thinking the other day about a plastic nativity scene that was lit up in the front yard of a neighbor's house. My family used to have that scene when i was a child. I thought about how u cant even find one of those these days. All you could find to light up your front yard is presents, trains, and "santa land here" signs. Its sad that young children don't even know what this holiday is even about. Its sad that people don't even care about Christ and His birth. Christmas has become a holiday about nintendo's and ipods. its pathetic.

I know that it is the birth of Jesus Christ and I know there is no such thing as Santa clause and I also that we get presents because the wise men gave Jesus presents.

America the beautiful, home of the brave,
One Nation under God, marked upon their graves,
Our founding fathers built this land,
"In God We Trust," they made their stand.
A nation built with strong convictions,
Free from British Rule,
"I Pledge Allegiance To The Flag,"
Was said in all our schools.
There was a time when we would pray,
After each and every meal,
Cite the Ten Commandments,
Let The Master do His Will!
"HONOR THY FATHER AND MOTHER,
THAT THY DAYS BE LONG AND STRONG,
LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS YE LOVE THYSELF,"
Is sung within our songs.
A New Light shines upon us,
A Fire from down below,
Satan is spreading his political views,
Erasing all that we’ve come to know.
The prayers that once were said in schools,
Became "A Moment of Silence,"
The paddling we received from the Principal’s rule,
Has been replaced by murder and violence.
"SPARE THE ROD AND SPOIL THE CHILD,"
Is Exactly what we have done,
Children running amuck and wild,
Shooting parents with their guns.
The Special Day we celebrate, each and every year,
The day in which our Savior was born, filled with joy and cheer,
Has become a day of infamy, a name we must not say,
Merry Christmas has been replaced, by Happy Holidays…

We are all thankful for many things. I have a healthy family, I'm able to buy gifts and share the holidays joyfully with them. I don't spend a lot of money, I never have a lot. I'm thankful that we are a happy family.

Your right, we have a lot of things to be thankful for like the breath in our bodies. And so many people have forgotten the true meaning of christmas, and so many more don't even believe in it, but we can't judge them for that because we all get judged in the end.
