Yes. My grandmother, and about 6 hours later she apologized and gave me mad gifts. I guess the thought she was wrong...with her being very religious and all.

People like that my dear are the very people who play at being Christians themselves. They like to appear holier than thou but when all said and done they are merely adapting sheepish behaviour to hide their own vanity, selfishness and arrogance, among other things.
I wouldn't let it bother you.
