No, definitely not. Mind you, I never cross the street even when it's sunny on the other side. Thus, my entire life is spent on the East side of the street. Everyone tells me to go West, young man, and sometimes I'm tempted to do just that.

But then I get afraid again of being hit by a bus or being run over by a getaway car, and I sit down on the curb (kerb) and cry.

Yes....2 or 3 times. I was an E.M.T. for almost 30 yrs. & have had to pick up the pieces from too many folks who didn't or thought they had the right of way just because they were pedestrians. Does it really make a difference if you're dead-right?...Just remember, it's a whole lot easier for a pedestrian to see an auto & stop than it is for a driver to see & stop in time.

It all depends on the street type.

You see i think this is a trick question?! As if its a one way street, of course you only look one way!
But then on the other hand if its a cross road your looking all bloody directions....don't even get me started on the spaghetti junction ;)

I look both ways, make sure there is no traffic, than once its clear to go I cross! When I get to the otherside I take a deep breath and clap cause I cheated death once again!
