mmm.
Can't choose between....Liverpool, as I am a lifelong Beatles fan, and simply ADORE the city, for lots of reason, not just that. It is the only place I would move to, if I won the lottery. I was walking on air both times I was there, and both times had to leave way to soon.
And the other place that takes my breath away is a certain point, on the West Coast of Scotland, which it the top of a mountain, which overloks a circle of other mountains, which stand on a MASSIVE sea loch. That spot is just so amazing, it will steal your breath, and make you feel smaller than a grain of dust, but also swell your heart and make you proud to be Scottish (which I am!lol).
Sorry I couldn't just choose one.

Las Vegas could be unhappy it isn't the main weird. they attempt so stressful to be ... yet I visited a pal who lives there and it quite is principally the travelers that help the weirdness there. Locals keep away from the enormous casinos. Guanajato does have mind-blowing mummies, yet with the exception of that, city is fairly welcoming to vacationers, no longer weird and wonderful. I even have been to approximately 25 international places and regarded for no longer-your-established-tourist places. The maximum weird place I went to grow to be: Luckenbach, Texas (approximately 50 miles west of Austin) it had a inhabitants of three in the process the week (and a pair of of them have been canines), yet 2 hundred on weekends. in fact, Luchenbach is a pub the place united states of america music events stressful. I heard in addition they have armadillo races. In Australia, using around the Nullabor is an journey. It has the longest stretch of on the instant street contained in the international. once you stress at night, you notice a bike coming in the direction of you ... 40 minutes later, you recognize that there are 2 headlights, 20 minutes after that, you pass the truck that grow to be coming at 70 + miles/hr. they are approximately to open a golfing direction crossing 2 time zones and stretching 848 miles. I've been to Italy and to various places in Mexico. It seems a lifetime ago now!
My favourite place in Italy (asides from the beautiful churches, etc.) was El Grotto del Mago in Gaeta, a cave where the legendary Cyclops walked through the Montagna Spacatta (cracked mountain) and when you walk through it, you can see giant hand prints on either side where supposedly it walked through during an earthquake when the mountain opened up and it was trying to close in on it. I'm sure there are all kinds of places with legends there.
The Vatican was pretty awesome too. Never made it to the north, just around Naples area.
