If I walked away with $200k I'd give them $20,000. 10% is more than fair. I would be happy to give back to them, unless they demanded it, then I'd give 'em a fat lip.

I would tell them the good news. Since it's not money I worked for, I would share it 50/50. It's only fair. I'd consider it a gift, the other 50%. After all, he did buy ME the ticket. who knows, maybe with my new financial situation, I can buy them one and they win 10 million, then they'd return the favor. What goes around, comes around. :))

I would throw them some $$$ as a gift, but not tell them that you won. That way you're giving back. If you tell them that you won because of the ticket that they gave you as a gift, they may feel entitled to more $$$ than you give them.
Just be a good friend and pay some bills for them.

I would tell them I won a bit and give them a decent bit. I don't know if I'd tell them How much lol...
then I'd share a little with others too like my Imediate family. I'd donate to my county animal shelter and a few churches around.
But If word got out, everybody who acts like I don't exist would be at my door step, so I'd have to be careful....

I would share! Think of it this way, it's not like your losing money, because you never had it to being with. Without them buying that ticket, you'd have nothing. If you share you still walk away with something.

First, I would check the back to see it is a fake ticket. Then I would throw it away when I found out it was a fake ticket.

My friends and I have an unwritten rule: A win up to $100 and you can keep it all to yourself. Anything over that amount and you have to give them half. Thats fair.

Depends on who it is. Family that i liked? share a little. Family I didn't like? little to none.
Same goes for friends or co-workers. Keep most of the profits though, as you will be the one paying taxes on it.
