Can you answer the following questions for me?
1. Include your reaction to what the English promise to the colonists if they join the militia. Did the English keep or not keep their promise? Why is this a cause of the American Revolution?
2. You will see different battle scenes. Choose one that you think best reflects the way in which wars were fought in the 1700's. Give as much detail as possible. How was the battle fought?
3. Also include a personal summary of the film as a whole. Did you like it? What did you think of it? Why?
Obviously you don't have to include if you liked it and what you thought of it- I'll do that part. For #3, you can give a personal summary about the movie.

First one which version or move do you want: There were two of them by the same name.
1. The English never kept any of their promise to the Militia. But this gave the Colonists the know how to re form Militias against anyone; French, Indian, or British. You keep braking your word and letting people down: they are not going to trust you any more.
2. The British stood out front and Fired a around of shot then charged with their Bayonets, The Colonist had no Bayonets so they had to use their guns like war clubs in close battle, just like the French and Indians did.
3.The basic idea of the films were to show the sorrow the last Mohincan felt when his son was killed, and how little the Whites as a whole through of it.

I assume you read the Cliff Notes version. Incidentally, you can rent it or even get a free trial with Netflix and receive a copy by mail.
The primary lesson is that we haven't learned anything in 250 years. Wars result from nationalism, bigotry and military power controlled by squirrel brains.
To understand the American Revolution, read Thomas Paine's The Age of Reason.

2. Were the one indian mohawks the other on the cliff cause he liked the babe. Cause all war is started either over a babe or for a babe to notice a guy.
3. Kinda long, needed more breasts, not enough techno music in the sound track.

1 i dont think they did keep the promise its been a long time since i seen this movie but they did loose fort william henry so alot of them were killed...maybe they honered it at the time but when they were defeated that fell through.
2) ambush scenes were my favorite and daniel day lewis doing hand to hand combat
3) its good but you come out thinking anti british thoughts. They make the english out to be heartless and maybe hey were. Its a good movie
