Looking for a nice place to eat in Pomona CA?

There are not many choices in Pomona for a good meal.
Try the CoCo Palm restaurant. It is on the other hill near the mining company. Very nice latin/cuban cuisine.
If that is not your ticket then move over to downtown Clairmont. Very quaint and quite a few places to eat. They have Greek, Homestyle (Heroes), 2 very nice Italian places (Arrefino's and Tutti Mangia). The best is not the easiest to find. It is Viva Madird and it sevrves a variety of Spanish delights. Anything from Paella to many (40+) tapas.
It is behind the bagel shoppe.

The only really good restaurant I know of in Pomona is 7 Mares. It's a Mexican restaurant and they have live music on the weekends. The food is authentic and outstanding.

Whenever I go to shows at the Glass House, I like to stop by Lela's Fine Dining on 2nd Street, in the Arts Colony area. It's quaint, but good. Nice for a date, actually. It's more for grown-ups, though, so if you're bringing children, this is not the place to be. But if you like salads, grilled selections and panninis with a glass of wine, Lela's is a nice pick.

If you are into an ethnic experience, Rowland Heights, which is right down the 60 Fwy is loaded with asian places.

There is a place in the greenlan market center with korean BBQ on the NW corner of Colima and Nogales

West Coast Buffet has a killer seafood buffet, in the Ranch Mkt shopping ctr on Azusa and Colima.

if you don't mind the drive Fullerton has a nice quaint Italian restaurant called Mulberry Street. its off of Harbor and Commonwealth
