Hello,

I have recently had my bank account confirmed with PayPal. In the past, i have paid my eBay selling fees with PayPal, but instead of taking it from my money in my PayPal account, it let me withdraw the money direct from my bank account. Can this be done with any item bought on eBay, because it is a lot more convienient for me.

Tom.

It can be done that way as long as the seller specifies that they accept PayPal as payment (most do now, it seems). And, yes, it is very convenient!

Some sellers don't accept PayPal, though, because they don't want to pay the seller fees associated with using PayPal. So be sure you check before you bid.

Best wishes!

Your Seller must accept Paypal payment as stated above. You use your bank account as the funding source for Paypal. When you buy something, Paypal will ACH the money from your bank. This is called an "eCheck". It takes about 4 business days (no weekends, no holidays) to "clear" an eCheck, so understand that your Seller will not ship your item off to you until that happens.

If you have a debit card on that account, you can tie THAT to your Paypal account as the funding source. This way, Paypal charges your debit card (which is your bank account) and pays the Seller immediately. That means your Seller ships your stuff out faster!

In any case, if you have any funds in your Paypal account when you pay for something with PP, a payment will use those funds first and any left over balance will come from your funding source.

On paying your Seller fees, you have the option to pay by several ways, including Paypal or directly from your bank. This is the ONLY place on eBay where you can pay eBay directly from your bank, and only for your Seller fees.

in case you do not have money on your Paypal account on the time of purchase, Paypal will immediately debit your chosen financial enterprise account of verify card for the sale volume, and finished the acquisition.
