God you feel for your little one dont you? I can swear by infacol as my son who is now 5 months old was on this from about 5 weeks to about 17 weeks and it made all the difference. Make sure to give befor each and every feed, it is vital that you are consistant with the doage wich can be 5ml/10ml which is either 1 or 2 full syringe worths.
Infacal is something which you can use long term every day, you do not need to worry about it it is not like a proper medicine or anything. Some tips to help you help your baby with the trapped wind would be to make sure you feed him/her as upright as possible, increase the amount of times you are windind throughout the feed, make sure the teat of the bottle is at the correct position which is just having the teat itself in the babys mouth as its easy for the remainder to slip in a little [thats if ur baby is bottlefed].
Good luck, Infacal is fantastic at breaking up the wind trapped from both ends! You can get this on prescription from your doctor too.

Infacol drops will work if you use them according to the instructions.
Also a little cooled boiled water with a touch of brown sugar in it will help[it's an old fashioned cure but it does work]
Lying the baby on her tummy across your knee and gently rub her back also helps relieve the wind

*Your mum and dad shouldnt of put that idea into your head. parents arnt suppost to say that sort of stuff. esspecially at your age. * His parents would say whatever anybody else said. If your realationship is so perfect then you should be planning your big house and then the marriage first. * Every bloke out there doesnt want to be using condoms in a relationship. Condpoms are for when your dating. You should be on the pill or injection by now you silly girl * what do you expect everyones comments on facebook to be when your only 18. when i was 18 i fell pregnant and i had an abortion. Best decition i made. Its not fair to have a baby that young. especially when its not planned with the dad. You cant live on your family helping you out. Grow up first.

Infacol wasn't around when my daughter was a baby but I believe, from my nieces who have young children, that they are good. We just used to put warm boiled water in a bottle and that often did the trick. It's hard going with a new baby, isn't it, as my daughter will find out next March when she has hers. I wish you well and hope you soon get some rest.

my son is now 4 months and got trapped wind all the time. I would give him mylicon drops and then put a burp cloth or towel in the microwave for about twenty seconds. make sure it isn't hot, then put it on their belly and lean them over, holding the towel on their stomach and propping their head so that their body is horizontal. If my baby didn't burp right after feeding, he would get them all the time and that was and still is the only way I can get rid of them. Hope this helps

You can try all those things if approved by your pediatrician but also be aware of the possibility that your little girl is lactose intolerant. Mine was (and still is as an adult). When we started giving her soymilk formula, she improved dramatically and thrived from then on. You might want to ask your doctor about that.
Another thing that worked well for my babies was to hold them upright against the front of me with their back to me and one of my arms giving a little pressure to their belly while the other supported them. Then a little gentle bouncing. That sometimes helped when regular over the shoulder burping didn't. My grandma had the across the knees technique, but it never worked for me.
Also, are you aware that Milupa has been accused of making false advertising claims? Check this website:

Infacol is really good, i used for my four children, also try cooled boiled water, i also changed the milk to cow & gate omneo which i found really good. Also make sure the bottle doesn't have slow flow teats on them, it makes the wind worse, i changed mine to medium flow, it stops the baby from gulping to much air, hopes this helps at all.

The way I used to do was, after feeding, put baby on it's back for less than 5 minutes, then sit up. Then up comes the wind with no problem. On the odd occasion I used gripe water, purchased in chemist's

Give her the drops, follow the directions on the bottle. I dont know where you're from, but mylacon drops work really well too.
My son was breast fed and still needed them from time to time, I know there was about 2 weeks straight where we had to give them to him every time before he nursed, and some times in between.
It really will help a lot.
Feed her before she's crying for it, so she's not sucking in air just before eating. Burp her half way through, and slow her eating down a little bit so she's not getting so much so fast. Keep her upright for a few minutes after and burp her very well.
