When I think of or remember particular places, events and people from my past I "see" something orange. I do not know what it is other than it is either the color orange or related to something orange. What is it??

Were the things you are remembering, chaotic?... If so that could be the reason why....orange usually represents a very busy or turbulent thought process...Now this is excluding if orange is your favorite color...If it is...you could be subconsciously connecting the color orange with items from your past, as a remembering mechanism...either way ...Good Luck

This sounds like a clairvoyant symbol. We all have our own clairvoyant language.
Sit & relax, imagine the colour & get close to it, ask questions - see what impressions etc come to you. This will give you some insight.
