I used to be able to do that. Then I got married, had a child, and now I can't up and leave whenever I please.

Yes. Sometimes I'd love to be able to press a button and cease to have ever existed...I get the feeling that certain things are going to end up totally stuffed up no matter what I do and I just simply don't feel like sticking around to watch the melt down.
But I will stay because someone would be very hurt if I walked away.

Just during the holidays...too many gifts to buy - not enough time or money...huge family, 5 Christmas functions to go to in a week and a half...
take it all away! That Green Day song should go "Wake me up when December ends"...
