Erasers on pencils should be abolished, not made bigger!

Two reasons, firstly they are totally useless and secondly they present a chocking hazard ...

No. Even though pencil marks as supposed to be "erasable" it does not mean that one shouldn't do it right the first time. In other words, erasing should be the exception to the pencil's regular use, rather than the norm.

Still, people DO make mistakes, and would rather show a messy, worn out piece of paper rather than, simply, line out through an error. I had an algebra teache that required ALL students to purchase a couple of pink erasers because she did not expect the eraser that came on the pencil would be enough.

Personally, I only use the pencil for rough sketching and a few, loose, light lines don't distract me from the final image. I can ignore the extra lines. I almost NEVER erase a pencil line.

I will confess to useing the eraser tool and delete functions of Photoshop. It's this digital file that will, eventually, go to the client, and he will expect the work to be perfect.

I must say -- this is the most random question I've seen.

But I do think that the erasers on pencils are rather small, especially with the amount of erasing I have to do on my math homework.

However, if the erasers got bigger, they would break off quite easily, wouldn't they? Hmm...

Surprisingly, no, they seem to be in portion to the length in terms of use. I do hate it when erasers go hard, and becomes impossible to erase.

Why waste a dumb pencil eraser? Buy a 'moldable' eraser, they are cheap.

No, but they should make the erasers BETTER.

Most of them just make pink smears or tear up the paper.
