Why do people care so much?
Honestly, she's 16 years old and made a mistake.
EVERY teenage girl makes a mistake.
Some get pregnant, some don't.
Why are people giving her such a hard time? Because she's a celebrity?
I understand that she's a 'role model' to younger kids, sure, but that's no reason to cancel her show or anything. PEOPLE make mistakes, and I really wish they'd just lay off of it.

I think it's simply the spectacle that this entire family makes of themselves that has everyone's mouths on the floor. It's like a 21st Century version of "Hee Haw". What will they do next to bring themselves into the spotlight? I think if Britney had been a good mother and faithful wife instead of a lunatic these past several months, we all might have a different view of what's going on with her little sister.
Admit it. We all look for role models. And yes, people make mistakes. The Spears family just brings all their mistakes and dirty laundry into the limelight though. It's time we stop giving them our money and save it for something better.

Her Mother book was just postponed, Parenting!!!! Huh, this 16 year old, her sister had the worse Parents. So is Brittany, court records attest to that. This 16, had a show that was directed to teens. Uh, like celibacy, clean living. She's not a role model. Yes we all make mistakes, but not when your selling what she was.

The problem is that the media presents celebrities as flawless. The celebrities themselves believe they are authorities on EVERY subject; thinking that being in the spotlight makes them intelligent. So when one of them gets in a jam, it's BIG news because everyone can see that they are NOT flawless.
I already KNOW people make mistakes, blah, blah, blah.......... but the problem is that the same mistakes continue to be made. If no one learns from the mistakes of others, they are twice a fool and are wasting their lives just reliving mistakes!!
She could've learned ALOT from her sister, who made a lifetime of mistakes. But fools can only repeat mistakes , not learn from them.

When you set yourself up as a role model than people expect you to be a role model.
A 16 year old getting pregnant isn't news....but it certainly isn't what most parents want their teen-age girls and boys to emulate.

I know! I feel awful for her! Its hard enough going through it not being famous (I'm 16 and was scared i was pregnant a few months ago) but to have every TV/mag/website in the world talking about it? Give her some privacy people! I do admire her for being so mature and up front about the whole thing though.

I agree.
Other 16 year olds and younger have gotten pregnant. It's just because she's a celebrity. Leave her alone people. It's not your life.

yes, people make mistakes, but she should have learned from her older sister. i mean, look at Brittany. she's soooo messed up. does Jamie want to be just like her? i don't think ANYBODY wants to be just like Brittany! so i think this mistake shouldn't be overlooked because it's a serious one. you shouldn't be having sex before marrige. it says that in the Bible.
